ART OF THE RITUAL

When I first visited Bali in 2016, I learned of some of the beautiful daily spiritual rituals and ceremonies that the local Balinese practice to honor nature and spirit.

This moment was captured from my last trip to Asia in Jan 2020 - a Balinese blessing during sunset. This expanded my visual sensitivity and connection to nature.

It was a beautiful to witness the reverence of the priestess to nature, the intention of each offering, arrangement of flowers and how the food would be shared with members of the village. It was pure magic and felt amazing to be a part of 🙏🏽✨

Ritual is an act of remembrance and connection to our essence. As part of my personal creative and well-being journey, practicing rituals and life as ceremony is the expression of devotion to a life filled with abundance. From birth into early adolescence, my life was far from easeful and abundant. But through creativity, rituals, and sacred practices, I remembered my divine essence. That all the gifts I had reside within and so is yours.
